Jets 'n' Guns. The spiritual successor to Tyrian, only a lot better and funnier. It seemed to be a huge hit when it came out, it got awesome ratings and yet there are so few votes on its wishlist :(

Kingdoms of Amalur because I loved that dev and hated seeing them shut down. Actually they should really be remembered for making the Rise of series of games, so those should be loved more.
Quake 4 seemed to be disliked for a Quake game, but I actually loved it. Actually speaking of Raven, they really deserve better than making CoD DLC like they do anymore.
No More Heroes, Mad World, Dead Space Extraction and other such games as well.

Teslagrad.
Released during the winter sale and criminally overlooked. Beautiful, intelligent, delicious, [re: top review] customizable controls (I switched hands, cursor for movement, WASD for actions, works perfectly). Sure, I die from time to time, but the reload is instantaneous and the music doesn't stutter. The gameplay is smooth and fast in a good way, without button-mashing, and the levels are spacious, none of that timing tax and plinking away at a long stretch of maze platform by platform -- whoosh!
Whooooooooosh!
Buy it.

Actraiser 2. Wait, don't leave.
This game is criminally ignored. Actraiser 1 was unique and interesting, but unfortunately, both the action side and the sim side were pretty unimpressive on their own. AR2 was and is extremely harshly criticized for removing the sim sequences, but the side-scrolling sequences have been improved dramatically. AR2 features excellent graphics, more abilities and movements for the Master, and vicious level design. There's a TON of content here - 15 stages, I think, offering plenty of variety - and every one is hard as nails. The best part is that with a password and unlimited continues, the game isn't over until you say it is.
The controls can be a bit difficult to handle at first, mostly because of how your wings work, but once you get used to them they're not bad at all - though the early levels aren't afraid to beat the hell out of you before you even know what you're doing. There are also a couple of extremely annoying jumps to make, including one early in the game that can take several minutes to get over, but thankfully they're rare.
If you're into hardcore platformers, particularly in the highly mechanical and methodical Ghouls n' Ghosts / Castlevania style, give it a try with an open mind. It's better than you think.

I'd say Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning doesn't get enough love. It was a great game with some really fun DLC.
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines is another game. I think it's the greatest game I've ever played. Others share that feeling as well so maybe it gets enough love, but more people should definitely play it.

So they were cheated by the makers of Amalur - they thought they had found a responsible company to take them in and instead it was a shell that barely made one game and who had investors that ran off with all the money that the company never even made.
RIP Big Huge Games, FU backers of 38. Seriously, I bet the owners of BHG regret they signed with 38 instead of a responsible, honest company - because if they had they might still be here and we might have another Rise Of game, as they were pretty far along before 38 picked their funds and corpse dry.

Baldur's Gate II and Fallout 2. The love those games get now is not enough!!! There should be giant statues dedicated to these games in every major city in the world!

Valkyria Chronicles. <3 I've not gotten into Alpha Protocol enough yet to tell if I like it that much, and the demo for Binary Domain wasn't that enticing. Does it get better? I loved the mech destruction animations for it, but that was really most of it from what I recall. Also, it has a PC version, and as I recall it's pretty functional, with some odd menu control quirks (i.e. keyboard driven vs. mouse driven).
