I finished In Cold Blood yesterday. A good spy game with more action than stealth but it has the same problems as other games in the genre (like Resident Evil 1-3 i.e. with 2D plans and 3D characters) : abrupt camera changes. This results in enemies popping on the screen as we change camera and they are quick to shoot you. Killing them without being hurt is very difficult.

Note that the gameis quite easy and I finished it in 8h without rushing.

Final Fantasy X-2 (PS2) - 100% in one go. Made a mockery of the final bosses, but at last I've finished this game. Only took me five years or so. If you gotta do it at all, do it right, I say. Well, not always, but I got to the last boss years ago and suddenly decided that I'd rather get the best endings; get it done proper-like. Started over about three times since then, but only now did I decide to actually keep a walkthrough handy.

Just finished Lost Planet: Extreme Conditions for the second time. I'd forgotten how awesome this game is. The gameplay is great and the story is really good, if occasionally cheesy. Overall it's a great game.

It sometimes feels like my job to complete games, but a fun one at that.

the only game i have finished this year is broken sword shadow of the templars the directors cut edition.

Finished Gothic1 a few days ago. Bought here on GOG, almost as good as Morrowind. Took me 45 hours.

Isn't it a little odd that very few people are playing older games or GOGs, and most are finishing newer games?

Well, I finally finished The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, many years after I bought it, thanks to the impulse brought by my new X360 controller. Quite good, actually, though short and hard.

EDIT: It's pretty short so I'm not bumping the thread for it, but I just finished the freeware The White Chamber. I'll put it on the list so I don't forget it next time I post.
