SO, I'm sick of this horrible lag I get from playing games. So, I want to try out Game Booster. Any one here actually tried it and used it? Is it RELIABLE?
It's something of an extreme option. From what I've read it turns off a lot of Windows visual enhancement options that don't impede performance on any half decent computer.
You may be better off by first pruning your msconfig along with other standard optimisation tasks and seeing if that helps.

Guess I'll wait. I have an OK computer, but it just sucks when it comes to some games.

Then it won't really help, I don't think.
In my opinion these "booster" apps are total crap and a waste of time. You have a higher chance of messing up your Windows install than getting any performance increase from these kinds of apps.
Your best bet at increasing performance is overclocking or upgrading your PC.
Sounds like malware/spyware to me. I wouldn't touch it with a stolen hard drive.

Scanned it with my Antivirus and Malware Antibytes, sent it to VirusTotal, and got clean results on all of them. Might test it, not sure...By the way, I just want to use this on Duke Nukem 3d and Mound and Blade (Played over 10 hours, a vassal of a small growing town, really hated enemies are numbers, and really good friends with Nords.).

Your computer is barely able to run Duke 3D? How much coal do you have to feed your PSU before you can use the internet?

I can run it fine. IN fact, I only have issues with the always present DOSBox lag.

Personally, I found that all DOSbox slowdown was eliminated once I had upgraded past the 1GB RAM mark. Although that was for XP. It's probably more like 2GB for Vista. But then that shouldn't pose any real problem as RAM is dirt cheap.

I use Vista, and I just get lag occasionally. It doesn't affect me much except when I'm in a big fight with those fucking LARDS...

Is an upgrade out of the question then?
Duke runs much better with EDuke32 and besides having flawless performance you'll also get a proper mouse aim :)
