a = number of post in this topic
b = says which letter (including spaces)
- = next character in code
+ = continue to next letter to get character code

Am I correct to assume that the range of numbers gave it away? I kind of did choose the last one as high as possible on purpose, but wasn't sure if it would make things too easy since it refereed to a posting on the same page and the number would be somewhat prominent.

The '+' sign was always used for expressing numbers (e.g. S+I+X -> 6), since unfortunately the only numbers in your names and titles were the ones not in the dumb code!

Yes. After many searches for the correct code / cipher I've spotted that "528" is strangely similar to my post's number. But still it required many changes in my thinking to get final answer. I wasn't sure what T and N means at start - I was checking different possibilities like "N means it is a number in final code", "T means text so it is some letter from the post", "+ means I do not need to check letters just count the number of +'s to get number". Even after I've got their "real meaning" there was still one more surprise to include spaces to get final letter.

BTW: weren't you afraid that some of users could change their title so the final code could become unsolvable? :D

I think the odds would have been very low, given that I intended this to take only like 1-3 days.
I was more afraid of having typos or messed up somewhere. With that kind of encryption it's a massive bugger.

I've tried slow and that didn't help. Whatever the issue is with the code it's not obvious, and I've already tried substituting part of your link into the code since that was about the 5th thing I thought could be the secret.
