I know this belongs in the Gabriel Knight forum, but I am so close to figuring out what I need to do that I really need an answer for this. SPOILERS AHEAD. I need the fourth item, the snake scale from both the Voodoo Museum and the Crime Scene, to get Moseley to re-open the case. But I can't find the snake scale in the grass in the crime scene! I'm at my wit's end. I need that goddamn snake scale, and I feel like I'm SO close to beating the game.

Have you used the magnifying glass on the marks in the grass ?

Yeah, and the narrator says the lines don't need magnification. Is this something I had to do earlier, and now I'm trapped because I didn't? Because if it is, I think my keyboard may be sailing through my monitor pretty soon.

I'm sorry mate, i remember the magnifying glass bit at that point but it's been a while and i don't remember exactly what you have to do.
Is that the only bit of grass? Maybe the scale is in another section of grass ? Not the same one as the lines pattern ?

There is a ton of grass, but I'll keep digging. Maybe someone who's done it before can kindly post here with a screencap? Talk about pixel-hunting...

Apparently the scale is in the grass on the right side corner by the tree.
