My issue with these sort of brackets is they don't take the time to at least add a couple random questions to each pairing.
If you can answer questions about the story of each game you get to vote. Otherwise, it's pretty much whichever game is newest or whichever game has a ridiculously loyal following (Ocarina).

It's similar to the Guiness book of World Records (WTF I know) list where the best game endings of all time read basically like "These are the games I played in the last couple years."
