I'm thinking of forming up a new contest based on an idea I've had for a while. I think there might be quite a bit of response and I'd actually like to share the idea. It will be a contest based on creative thinking, writing, plotting, so forth, and I'm sure there's a multitude of great ideas that haven't yet been used in this world. So, I want to make a thread.

Here's where the question and twist comes in: Do I award excellence in creative thinking? The big twist in this is that not only will I be hosting the contest, I'll be a part of it. Yes, I will be an entrant in my own giveaway, and as such I wouldn't be picking a winner. It would be a future popular vote held after such and such amount of ideas have been presented. I could award someone, but if we go via popular vote, it's unfair to just award one person, and in the off-chance that I win then it makes things semi-pointless.

So, I want to ask, if I were to make a creative thinking contest based on a certain subject, would people be interested? Should there be prizes? And would generous people be willing to offer coupons or cheap steam keys or so forth to winners? I'd be willing to put up a prize or two depending on the progress and when the voting tally will fall to end, and by having a few difference values of prizes we can have say 10 different winners, and do something akin to my rather massive 23rd birthday giveaway to get people prepared for a hopefully equally big 24th birthday giveaway. Thanks for your time and I hope to hear from you guys.
