- which games?
- are you sure you installed ALL the drivers?
- tried ALT-Enter?

Tychoxi: - tried ALT-Tab?
I think you meant ALT-Enter.
Have you checked the scaling option on the GPU configuration utility to make sure that's set to scale properly?

You are correct, heh.
-i have all pinballgames and descent1+2+3 and all the free games, and i don´t seems to have a driverproblem, and my nvidia are set to fit the screen.
-problem is that my "fullscreen" only shows 4:3 and not the 16:9 i had with vista.
-i had a "grid to vista" and have searched the net for a "grid to win7", only to find that i´m not alone with this problem. (if this is the problem?)
-i´m not a computernerd (yet;) and i simply don´t know what to do, exept going back to vista and live with an extreemely bad os:!

-ps, thanks for your interest:)

Huh, funny. That's what most people here with similar issues ask how to accomplish.

Hate to break it to you, but that's functioning correctly. It was wrong before. ;)

Basically what Hedwards said, there will be an option in your driver control panel to change the scaling mode. What kind of graphics card do you have?

-i have an acer aspire 8920G with a nvidia geforce 9500m gs 512mb graphiccard. (the labels says;)

-well, i would like it wrong again:)

You realize these games were designed for 4:3 screens, so when it is filling a 16:9 screen it is actually distorting the graphics... reminds me of the people who have their SD TV shows filling up the widescreen TVs so everyone looks like they're some sort of tubby squished-face imitations of human beings *shudder*...

Anyway, if you really want the squished ugly graphics, there should be an Adjust Desktop Size and Position item in the nVidia control panel, then go to the Scaling tab and choose "Fill Screen" and select "GPU" from the drop-down menu. You may have select the override checkbox, as well.
-i hated the old streched images too, tallin;)
-some people still have their tv configured so far away you can come from looking out of a window:!
-but these games i got here was actually working in such a way that i was convinced that they were converted to 16:9 somehow?

(and we are talking pro pinball series;)

-ps. -i have my nvidia to show what the programs want, and i want to keep it that way to avoid other problems:)

Pro Pinball would definitely have been stretched. That's a prerendered 2D game so nothing apart from stretching or cropping would make it widescreen...
-well, i must admit that i feel confused right now.
-i just checked the "timeshock" pinballvideo on youtube, and it looks exactly like the screen i have now.

-i must be a victim of selective memory, but i don´t seems to remember any "liquid" balls?!?

-i´m afraid that this "problem" is solved?
(who do i grant the honor?:)

Yourself! If you can't do that then I'm out of ideas. :P
-well, i will hold this topic open.
-i will probably for several reasons have to reload my vistabackup, and then i will confirm my selective memoryerror;)
-if i am right that it actually works, i think you should all have it.
-otherwise, i will be back to excuse my memoryerror.

-thank you all for your contribution:)
