Seriously, that's all you can find in stores nowadays. I went to 10 stores and saw the exact same rubberized model with ergo handle in all 10 of them. It's as if they passed a memo or something.
The wider middle doesn't feel comfortable in my hands at all and I just don't foresee a stable grip with it.
Canadian Tire (bless them) has some straight handle ones, but only up to 40 lbs. Only straight handle dumbbell I'm finding North of 40 lbs are Cap dumbbells on Amazon which are apparently of dubious quality (apparently, the weight is often off) and have an inflated price, probably due to shipping.
Doesn't it suck when the market just doesn't get you?
Was the same thing for bloody ereaders. Had to get mine imported from Holland to get a 9+ incher.
