Of course that's my "bias." That is the reason I deliberately constructed "I" statements. I also carefully included the qualifier "just about" because there are rare occasions we do agree (however, they are so rare I chalked them up to coincidence.)

Why can't you just make one thread for the purpose of fun. I thought that was the point of the donut thing? Have one thread and go nuts in it, no one will low rep you. Making threads constantly about spam topics just annoys people.

I will reply alot more, in fact that's what I usually do. It seems my thread starting is more visible to most tho, for obv. reasons.

Also off color jokes aren't pushing the rules IMO.....and no one can get me to see otherwise. I have stated I didn't do such to prove anything or push the rules and as such that explanation should suffice for most that i'm telling the truth on that.
The donut hole thread is for offtopic. The other threads were meant to stay on topic and just be for laughs and entertain the board a bit. And spam? Maybe the last two....but the first two? Humor as the purpose of a thread doesn't make the thread spam by default and again if my posts are spam then so are all the request ones and the like.

Whenever you have MULTIPLE off-color joke threads, as Delixe made a point of, its a bit (read: way) too far. We don't need a special thread for every pun you can think of. Neither do you.

Do you really not see the difference between newcomers asking newcomers' questions, due to not being familiar with the community, and your own threads where you go "haha, tits".... "haha, cock" .... "haha, balls"?

No one is arguing that which is why beg threads are frowned upon. It's usually why the first reply in such a thread is a polite link to the wishlist. Can't really blame new members for making a beg thread since GOG buried the wishlist.

Much as I agree that Gamerager goes way over the line as often as not, I don't think this thread is constructive. Even in "hey GOG!" clothing, the opening post still reads like an incitement to dogpile on the guy. I'm not sure what the "official" channel for relaying community grievances is meant to be, but surely this isn't the best way to handle this issue.

I will say that his pointless pun threads are no worse than some of the threads I've seen started by more popular members. Posting three or four of them in an hour, though, that was annoying.

I made only two to start with....apparently two is alot and clutters a board filled with possibly 100 pages of misc and repeat request/etc threads? The other two were in angry response to how I was treated in the first two....and I apologized for those btw.

I don't think GOG wants people to come on their forums and see threads like the ones you are making.

In order to buy Gogs you need a credit card, thus i'm guessing most goggers are adults, and as such wer'e adults do on occasion *gasp* like to hear a dirty joke or two. Hard as that may seem to believe. Thus if I wanna fill that niche and let others laugh as well I see no problem with it.

I hate how people keep bringing up that "classy community" one liner in the rules as if it means we all have to act like little Lord Fartleroys 24/7 and nary think a dirty thought.

More importantly, the vast majority of the existing forum members don't want to see them, GR just doesn't seem to get that.

And you know this how? Did you ask everyone personally? I made a dirty joke and even BEFORE the last two fully spam threads people were getting their collective knickers in a twist over it......imo not because of the content but because I made it and because I made it that MUST mean I did it for bad reasons......

And for the record, I could care less about the content of your joke threads, if you had limited them to a single one. When you start spamming it up with what is essentially the same joke, that gets annoying.

And I don't know how things are in America, but here it is pretty common for teenagers to have their own debit cards. I got my first one when I was twelve or something.

As for your comment well both threads are seen as spam by goggers yet mine get the most ill will directed towards them....even BEFORE the rep rollercoasters start either way with semi flaming comments by supposedly classy members.
