pigdog: I'm another who's lost interest in F1. I appreciate the talent that Seb Vettel has but it doesn't make exciting viewing. Instead, I prefer Moto GP including Moto 2 and 3. Btw, is this the longest a thread's been bumped?
F1 is not really a big enough topic for a new thread. Also I prefer to keep the thread tidy with single topic = single thread so I'm willing to revive a necro thread.
HK_47: I've really lost interest in F1 in the past few years, especially when pay drivers took over most of the seats. While the racing in F1 will probably never be the most exciting in the world, mainly because of the differences between the cars, it was still nice to see talented drivers emerging from lowly teams, like Alonso and Webber did at Minardi many years ago. And now it's looking like Nico Hulkenberg (one of the best young talents in F1 right now) will be out of a seat in favor of one pay driver or another. It's just disgusting.
That's made me sad. I know they remove (or add) a lot of stuff to keep the F1 safe. But using pay drivers? the feeling of "adventure" is gone.
