Elmofongo: Hey at least he got the Ultimate Edition on Origin, Steam does not have it and worse after I uninstalled the game for awhile and reinstalled all the dlc is gone because I could not remember the old password for Bioware's website so all that money I spent buying the expansion and dlc, ppfft, down the toilet :p

You can always get your password sent to you if you forgot it. And there are backups. I think. At least I've backed up all my ME1/ME2 DLC, couldn't really do the same for ME3 (or maybe I can, but I haven't tried it out yet...)
Thats unforgivable. Now you will certainly burn in hell for all eternity.

But for confessing your sin +1
Not in, but +1 for the botfly larvae living under your skin. After all, if you're comfortable with the invasiveness of Origin, parasitic maggots should be a doddle. ;)

Well to be fair I don't keep it running and stop all the processes related to it. It seems that after activating I can run DA: O without needing origin. So in a way it's better than steam... pffft... if better is the right word...

Nothing wrong with DA: O. Dunno anything about Origin though. >.> So +1 and not in.

Aye, in the same sense that it's "better" to be assaulted with a crowbar than a fire ax. ;D

Intolerant of DRM? Moi?
Can I enter for another person? I just met a person who had never heard of GOG and wanted to pay all kinds of money for Fallout 1 and 2. I told him about GOG and CDProjekt. He'd never heard of either, including The Witcher.

I described The Witcher and it became a must-play for him.

And Origin isn't horrible. It's just yet another client. And DA is awesome. I plan on re-buying it (maybe next year, though -- I want maybe 4.99 for DA1 Ultimate + 2). I never finished it due to a hard drive issue and I gave the game to my brother so he could enjoy it. I can't stand replaying 40 hours of a game right after I lose it all.

Peace and thanks!
+1 for GA, -1 for Origin, +1 for redemption, -1 for TWEE, +1 for "anyone can enter" = +1 :-)

Not in.

Sure, you can re-gift if you want.

TWEE = The Witcher Enhanced Edition

Since you didn't specify I assumed you are giving a GOG version, I have taken to calling it TWEE (The Witcher: Enhanced Edition). :-)
You are forgiven the DA is a really great game, I really enjoyed playing it.
Just don't get the 2nd one ;P

Yes i know. I've played both (pirated) back in the days, but the second left a sour taste in my mouth. I somehow stopped caring about anything, I just wanted to finish the plot, whose ending btw was... meh
