So apparently this game is now free to play via steam, and it looks promising. It's a football MMO, where you control your player and level up, stuff like that.

Has anyone actually played this? Is it good?

I have played it before. (i would have responded earlier, but i am trying not to post on these forums much at all)

I played it when it was in it's beta phase. The game is ok, but it's hard to score goals as it seems robotic and clunky/unresponsive. It's still worth playing the odd match.

Another problem was the fact that people were blaring music through microphones, and nobody passed the ball. Geeks seem to think football= running towards the goal and scoring on their own, without fail.

They have no idea how to play football. That annoyed me.

It looks pretty good from accounts I've read, but like all MMOs you need to get a few stats under your belt before your character is actually playable.

I haven't checked it out but I think there's a lite version of it playable in a browser if you want to get the gist of it before attempting the download

Which brings me to the reason why I haven't tried it; I personally I have no interest in football, so I'm afraid I won't be joining this one. Best of luck with it though!
