Aningan: I wouldn't call Broken Steel good. Adding the 20 to 30 levels kinda broke the game balance, the little that it had. And partly the purpose of the DLC was to fix the retarded ending of the original.

StingingVelvet: Also it was too combat focused. Still, I enjoyed it for some of the quests and the way it changes the world. Also it was quite long and meaty and well worth $10.
Yeah it was enjoyable. Definitely not a bad DLC, but I wouldn't put it next to Point Lookout or The Pitt.

WBGhiro: I hope this is the last one so they'll finally release a goty edition.
There is one more confirmed for August, Lonesome Road. From the description that will be the last one.
Any chances that GOTY edition won't be a Steamworks game?
One can dream ><

None.

Delixe: None.
Yeah, totally expected. But still a pity.
Meh, I had hoped for a June release. Oh well.

Personally super stoked on this one. Dead Money was amazing in my opinion, but Honest Hearts was a real let-down. Pretty scenery, but not enough to *do* by a long stretch. I'm hoping Old World Blues will move back towards the story-driven feeling of Dead Money.

Gods, I can't believe I wrote story-driven. By story-driven I mean "lots of text to read" and "better rewards for exploring in the form of pre-war logs etc". Thus.
im gonna wait for a GOTY or eqivelent and get the PC version, 360 version annoys me.
I already have retail version...not sure if I will buy any DLC before release of GOTY but anyway, cant wait :D
I was really hoping for a June release since I'm very excited for it but I suppose I can find other games to keep me busy til then. :P With Chris back on writing I have no doubt that it will be fantastic. Like I said elsewhere, I am a huge fan of Dead Money and wasn't incredibly impressed with Honest Hearts, but what I've seen of OWB so far looks like it will be a blast.

I'm mostly really itching for Lonesome Road though, and that's probably going to be pushed back till August now.

It was supposed to be a June release with Lonesome Road in July. Then Lulzsec happened -_-
Even though i own vanilla New Vegas i haven't bought any DLC and won't buy this DLC since i will wait for the inevitable GOTY edition with all of the DLCs included.

Retarded ending? /sigh

FO1&2 spoiler!

Fallout ends with you getting screwed. That's more or less the point of the game, from the perspective of the first two. Sure, I'm clear on "games don't have to just be reiterations of the previous ones in the title", but the ending to vanilla FO3 was one of noble sacrifice (if forced, in some situations), and totally in line with the Fallout world.

/end spoiler!

But then, Fallout3 really wasn't written for the same audience as the first two, so while us old school gamers might be a little disappointed, we can't really be surprised that what worked before doesn't work so well anymore.

Yes, retarted. I have a mutant who's immune to radiation and I'll rather commit suicide to "save everyone" rather then sending Fawkes in. That's not noble, that's dumb. The whole story wasn't very good, but the ending... that was beyond bad. Hence the reason they fixed it with Broken Steel and in the process broke the balance of the game since F3 wasn't really designed for lvl 30 characters.

Or Charon for that matter. Both are actually healed by Radiation.

Oh yeah, forgot about him. Must be cause I only got him in one playthrough and didn't really use him that much.
