What's the chances of the remake coming to GOG?!
Not likely at launch, though that would be awesome. It could come later though, like Rayman Origins did. You can ask the devs, VectorCell, if they can get Ubisoft to include a GOG release at launch.

Theoretically we could get the original here. It was published by U.S. Gold, who merged with Eidos Interactive, and we have Eidos here. :)
The original will apparently be bundled with the remake, so it appears VectorCell's Paul Cuisset got to keep the rights, and Ubisoft is now the publisher.

So apparently the remake is lousy, and the original packaged with it has a stupid arcade frame around it, opposed to being full screen.

Sounds to me like we really should just try to get the original on GOG.

Well, or GOG could publish the remake and include a DOSBoxed version of the original as bonus content.
Never mind turns out it is coming and I was wrong

I'd strongly prefer this way as well.
