I've recently come across an upcoming game called First Earth which is basically old-school Ultima Online - except you and your fellow players are building a civilization from the ground up. Plus, it has an emphasis on actual player skill, which the game calls "hard skill", over statistics, or "soft skill". It's presently in invite-only alpha, with a beta coming later on. Anyone else heard of this?

According to the game's "About" page, the game takes place "on a realistic Earth-like world that has been untouched by humanity." There's plenty more information on the game on said "About" page.

yeah I read that but it didnt really help. Is it like a Falloutesque world, fantasy, or just prehistoric?
