At some point Firefox introduced a new feature, that redirects manually typed urls to https (SSL) connection if it is present in the browsers history. And gog.com now only accepts SSL connections on secure.gog.com domain.

To fix this problem you have to remove any items in your browsers history that contain "https://www.gog.com"
