You new-fangled people you. Castlevania doesn't have save games. It's hip and cool and requires you to start from the beginning when you die.

(The sarcasm isn't intended to berate games that don't have save games - I love Castlevania too - but the difficulty level on that game really is punishing).
Also, once you beat the game, you start over from the beginning again. Except now it's harder.

Beating the game on an emulator that supports saving game in any moment is N00b!!!

GOOD LUCK!

If you play GT5 you will be much more stumped on NASCAR license test. Perfect for people with wheel but torturous for people with basic PS3 controller.
