El_Caz: Mount and Blade Warband. Is Magicka an indie title? I haven't played it in a long while, specially since I reached a point that simply goes past my capabilities of staying alive. I also enjoyed Droplitz much more than I should have.
It is about as indie as M&B. Paradox is not indie, but the studio behind the game would be counted as indie. Bastion is in a similar situation, small privately owned studio, big publisher.
I don't tend to replay games after the first play-through.
Recent exception (and Indi): Dear Esther.
Played through that at least three times.

Another favourite at the moment: Frozen Synapse
my big indie time sinks have been recettear with over 200 hours played and dungeon defenders with over 500 hours played
3 letters: FTL

can't wait for it to be complete! I play alpha on onlive and I enjoy it very much...
does Castle Crashers count?
Modern Warfare 2. You've probably never heard of it.
Dungeons of Dredmor.

Tantrix: My favoruite indie game is, be surprised, Aquaria. I just loved the graphics and the music. And the metroid like gameplay was worth any minute.

Close would be the Penumbra series and Amnesia :)

jefequeso: Oh, of course! I forgot that Friction Games is still indie.

Yes, Amnesia and Penumbra are both amazing.

Skreczi: Mount and Blade!

Insane number of mods keeps it alive and kicking :)

Also vanilla M&B is so awesome :D You can have fun with as a lonely loner or as a war leader :) You can be a sword master or an experience archer. You can actually do everything you want! For me its a perfect sandbox experience :)

jefequeso: Is that still indie, too? It's done very well for itself, if so.
I think so :)
Probably either Minecraft or Terraria. I can play these for hours on end without realizing it.
Binding of Isaac, with... 84 hours. Didn't realize I played it that much, though it's fun to fire it up for a single run through the dungeon, then quit. It's great because the random nature of the items you find (typically 10-15 of the 130ish total, though I do get some duplicates) and the floor layouts makes the game different each time.

l0rdtr3k: does Castle Crashers count?
Sure does! I forgot about that one because I don't have a Xbox360 myself, but I loved to play it at a friend's house. It ranks quite high among my favorites, too. :)
Mount & Blade... now that is a game.. specifically the Prophesy's of Pendor mod..
Played:
Amnesia: The Datrk Descent
Audiosurf
Breath of Deat VII
Cave Story
Cthulhu Saves the World
Dungeons of Dreadmore
Mount and Blade + expansions(I didn't really think this was indie but I see others mentioning it)
Penumbra series
Receattear
VVVVVV

BIT.TRIP.RUNNER
Fortune Summoners
Nightsky
Nimbus
Super Meat Boy
