Do space sims count? Ive never been much to traditional flight sims, but X-Wing, Tie Fighter, Freespace 1&2 and Independence War 1&2 are the hotest hot I know of.

If you can stand the old graphics, I-War 1 is in a class of its own. If I was a millionaire, id pay someone big bucks to make that kind of game.
