darthspudius: Maybe it's just the setup Im actually bad at. I look at half the settings and drool out the ears haha.

grviper: For starters go with graphics plugin setting DirectX11 (Software) in native rendering resolution, and no extra speedhacks. After that works, start fiddling if it's too slow or too ugly.
Don't suppose you can link me to what I need? I'm abit out of date on this topic.

Get a release either here http://pcsx2.net/download/releases/windows.html
or here http://pcsx2.net/download/development/svn.html
Get a dump of PS2 BIOS somewhere. Google is your friend.

Getting started section has a video guide to settings among other things http://pcsx2.net/getting-started.html

JetGumRadio: Fatal Frame 2 was removed from PSN? I bought it the day it came out but only played about a hour of it and it seemed fine. Maybe I will continue that today.

darthspudius: I own the original ps2, xbox versions and believe me the psn version is seriously buggy.
Yeah, I have them all on PS2 and xbox as well. I played the PSN version a little bit more and the sound is definitely bugged.

Oh, also find PS2Lunch (yes, Lunch). It's a launcher for PCSX2 that will let you create individual config profiles for each game. Gets very handy if you need to have, say, fast emulation of God Hand in hardware rendering mode, and Shadow Hearts in software mode with a different set of emulation core settings, and you don't want to keep notes for each game.
