OldFatGuy: I was really hoping for turtured hearts to come through, but it's not even going to be close.
The good news is, if there is any, she hinted in the video or perhaps somewhere else (I can't recall for sure now) that there is a back-up plan if it fails here. Having put that out there might be one reason it's failing so badly, I dunno. But I know that one sounded pretty exciting to me.
I doubt that, out of all the issues TH Kickstarter had, is the one that did them in. Literally, no one donated because they saw no way in which it would get funded and there seemed to be a genuine lack of maturity and business knowledge on the part of the team (whatever the reality, this is definitely the sense most people got), so whatever technical/video game credentials they had were a wash.
As I said before, I wish them well, I highly suggest they start with something that's not their magnum opus, so they can get it funded and have a proven, successful project under their belt. Then I believe they have a much better chance of funding something like TH.
