2000 to 1600 is perhaps minor but 900 will be a big decrease and i do doubt it has enough sucking power (waits for the jokes)
It's also the point that the EU should spend their time on more important things and not meddle so much in trivial things as this is just a tip of the iceberg.
It's not, lots of meddling in trivial things, only a few countries do have a real saying in things, people in the EU pay for the mistakes of other countries (saving Greece, Portugal etc etc)
You make the EU sound worse than the United Nations (which I would to work if I got through my politics major)
Politics wherever i think the people only sit there for theirselve, and not really for the regular people they are supposed to sit for.
We have some people from the dutch government still working there while they are already seeking a job in the EU (or elsewhere), like our minister of finance.
