So...I've done it many times now.

I mark up all the text I want to make bold for example ... but when I click the bold button it always adds {b}{/b} to the END of the markup instead of placing the first part in the beginning and the second part at the end.

This is irritating as you have to manually cut and paste it in place.

what browser are you using?

Seems that the last "test" the b was placed in the middle of the word.

I use both Internet Explorer and Google Chrome and I have exactly the same problem in both of them.

I just do it manually by putting the proper coding at the beginning and end of the text I want to bold/itlicize. Works well enough for me.

Yeah I know....but I'm just saying...the buttons are there right...

I mean this forum is near perfect in any other way so this just seems like a unnecessary weak spot....

Aye, point taken. I've just always done it manually, so it's second nature for me. I don't even notice the buttons, to be honest.

But yeah, they should at least work properly.
