as far as i know Red Cliff is sometime during the RoTK story, (though i know most of the story from the Dynasty Warriors games lol) its the Battle of Chi Bi isnt it

If you're looking for epic and Asian Cinema, check out the Ran bluray. It's an amazing looking film with some epic battle sequences. Seven Samurai, another Kurosawa, is also a good bet if you're into those kinds of films, although I haven't seen the Bluray transfer of that film but it's Criterion so it should be top notch.

I really reccomend "Leon"
Great movie and especially great on Blu-ray, I reccomend it to everyone, regardless of what movies you are into

The recent Red Cliff movie fails to stay in line with the real history or the novel itself and tells its own story. You're better of reading the books or watching the 100+ episode classic 1995 drama series that's spot on accurate for most parts:

i'd also say check out the Cine Asia website and look at the upcoming release 71 Into The Fire, that looks pretty damn epic
