michaelleung: Woot! Hong Kong pride! I haven't played these games in like, forever.

lowyhong: Trevor Chan for president! That guy's a bold genius, too bad he hasn't been around much lately on the PC gaming scene

Yeah, he's been under the radar since 2003?
I've only played warlords battlecry, but it was pretty nice
...and Scrapland?
Howevah, Capitalism seems good, I'll try it.
Awesome; I love Seven Kingdoms!
this is being overly picky,
but when I read the thread title, I thought GOG had lost something (i.e. drops).
I re-read it and figure out what you guys meant, but recently for me "drops" has a negative connotation.

seibit: ...and Scrapland?

Scrapland was pure genius - GTA meets cyberpunk. I loved the humour, loved the setting, loved the gameplay. The only thing that deterred me from getting it: Starforce
Ahhh if only GOG has Scrapland, I'd buy it in a moment...well not really, considering my wallet's not in the best condition atm
Wait, did GOG just quote itself? How odd.
I love these surprise announcements anway. Allows me to hope that Troika studios is next.
Or even Valve. What a coup that would be.
Seven Kingdoms on GoG!? Thank you very much you just made me very happy (again!). I remember a couple of years back when I was frantically trying to get a hold of a working copy.. Thank you GoG, your faithful servant bows once again to your awesomeness! \o/

skizelo: Or even Valve.

to quote Metallica "NEVER!!!!!!"
(see: Blackened)
Scrapland would be really cool to see on GOG. I bought the original release before I knew it has Starforce on it, I'd buy it again from GOG just for the whole "DRM free" aspect of it.

skizelo: Or even Valve.

Considering Valve has their own distribution platform with Steam, on which they already sell all their old games, I doubt we will ever see another game from them available through any other service, especially GOG.
Scrapland was developed by Spanish programmers (the same ones who made "Clive Barker's" Jericho), even if it was sold using American McGee's name.
I would love to see it in GOG. I bought it in a bargain sale but I never got around to play it because of the killer DRM it had. So this would be an ideal GOG release!
American McGee was still the producer on the game, hence why the game is actually called "American McGee presents: Scrapland" and not "American McGee's Scrapland", like his previous design masterpiece "American McGee's Alice" or his current work "American McGee's Grimm".
In the case of McGee, he is a producer in the traditional sense, like a music or movie producer, so he has his hands in nearly every aspect of the game's development. The point is, his name was not just slapped on the game for the sake of marketing, he actually did work on it.
Never even heard of most of these games, except for the Capitalism series.
Is Seven Kingdoms any good?
woohoo Warlords Battlecry 3
I played 2 and while it wasn't the best rts game in the world, it was rather enjoyable.
WB2 gave you bonuses depending which countries you conquered and your general was able to equip all kinds of stuff to boost his/ her skills.
WB3 will be my first GOG purchase and my second GOG order (Beneath A Steel Sky was my first).
This is great loved their games. Nice one GoG :)
