Honestly I think if you come to GOG just for the low prices then you're likely not their primary target audience. Discount gaming isn't their market, they might make use of that market, but its not the one that they are servicing. The markets they are aiming for is the DRM free and old games markets.
Of course they'll always try to keep the price to the consumer down, but honestly if its a case of having a title present on GOG at a higher price or not having it I'll choose the former option every time.
Game "worth" is always going to vary player to player - heck there are some who will consider any charge on a game to be "criminal" and "not worth it".
