SirPrimalform: No mention of a release other than Steam. Oh well, I'm not bothered about it enough to complain or compromise so I'll probably just not get this at all.

taczillabr: 8 games for $4,

personally I can't complain about DRM with a price as low as that.
Yeah, but there's a third factor: how much I care. I just don't care enough about playing them to compromise on DRM, no matter how low the price. If I really wanted to play them then I'm sure it'd be different.
This is up now on Steam for those who are interested;

http://store.steampowered.com/app/214790

There's also a 30% discount for owners of SMB, BOI or Gish!

What's up with those system requirements? Are they for real?
Well they ARE Flash games.

Foxhack: Well they ARE Flash games.
That's my point. Since when do flash games require 4GB of ram, and GeForce 9800+?

Since lazy developers, who can't learn proper coding, started putting heavy particle effects in their products.
And since Flash itself has gotten a lot more bloated in the past few years.

And these games were never well optimized to begin with.
OK, thanks for the answers.
I thought these games were supposed to be remastered and wanted to get them. But these requirements are far above my laptop specs...

I bet, there was something released years before them, that was similar in style, but runs in DOSBox or a C64 emulator. :)
It only took 11 years for the indies to make a clone of this...

Is this worth it?

I wish he would team up with someone able to work with something other than flash. Edmund McMillen is a good game design, but flash is not good for games. I was suffering from serious slowdown in Binding of Isaac, a game that looked like it could have been made in the second half of the 90's, for the most part at least.
