just do it like everzone else, get it... wait a few months until you can trade it in again and buy a steam title for the trade in value :)

Nothing in this universe is really for free...

Most of the games can't be traded in, unfortunately. That and GMG requires a client. Those are the two reasons why I haven't signed up...

Did not had any title yet, that can't be traded in that requires this capsule crap. Last time they offered a game for free, it was flagged as not tradeable as well, but one month later I was able to trade it in for a good value :)

Probably so people can't claim hundreds of free copies, the try selling/trading them in for lots and lots of money. Something similar recently happened with Origin, though I can't remember the details.

Yes,the mean is: take it now, trade it later for credit.
They run some promotions sometimes that involve these free games,like the Dark Souls promo when they gave Beyon Divinity and other free games.

Ok, is this a problem for anyone else?

I get a 403 error when I try to log in with Firefox, and the page is totally messed up when I use Opera. Cleared cache, cookies, etc. I've disabled any ad blocker addons.
I'm forced to run it in IE, which logs me in nicely.

Chrome runs well too!

I have no problem with GMG, used them a few times and never had a problem. Yeah they use a client, but I can live with that.

Plus, its the only place I could find A.I.M. - my all time favourite game..;)

No - A.I.M. Artificial Intelligence Machines. Game published by 1C, by little known Russian studio SkyRiver. Defies genre pigeonholing, you pilot a hover flier,and have to trade / run errands on various planets, all while trying to stay alive against various different factions and uncover the reason for existence. Working economy system, RPG elements in upgrading your ship, and a setting that is completely unique.

Excellent graphics, superb atmosphere. Slightly ropy translation difficulties from Russian to English, but nothing showstopping. I love it...
