MonstaMunch: I got a laugh out of this quote from a different article about the class action lawsuits;

"The lawsuit accused Zynga of concealing declines in users and the sale of virtual goods -- such as a cow in "FarmVille" -- the company's prime revenue source."

I don't know if that's just a badly worded sentence, or if cows in Farmville are really their primary revenue source.
Shame they're not EU based as if they were they could request farming subsidies from EU as they are clearly in farming bussiness. We need to keep our virtual selves fed after all. ;-p

Soo, any bets how long Zynga will last?

Am I the only one who got definite "Syndicate vibes" from all that "stealing employees"?
How dare Zynga make a game where characters converse and dance! What's next? TV shows that copy each other? A bunch of hack writers trying to cash in on whatever's popular in the book world at the moment?

But seriously, I can see EA's point. It's like Z didn't even try to hide it.

v1989: It is good for us. EA will need money for attorneys, so perhaps we are going to see more EA's games on site.:D
Exactly mabye they would go as far as releasing battlefield 1942, vietnam, and mabye even 2

and if possible.......SYSTEM SHOCK!!!

(was it ea who own the game now?)

Yeah, on the face of it it's not too bad. And I can understand that skin tones too, since *skin tones are real*, and you can't make digital skin tones too different without hitting the uncanny valley, etc. But Zynga is really known for copying everything.

MonstaMunch: So one of my least favorite companies is suing one of my other least favorite companies. Hopefully their lawyers will run away with all the money and leave them both bankrupt...

Zynga is a company built on copying games, but they made a mistake copying off someone with the means to sue them. They should have just stuck to ripping off smaller indie mobile developers who couldn't afford to fight it.

MikeMaximus: I don't really keep track but I remember seeing Zynga profits were already massively down. But the more nails in the coffin the better.
Indeed, there must be more nails. There cannot be enough nails in that coffin even if it were made of and filled with nails..
My hate for Zynga makes me almost forget how much I hate EA.
