Where I live the summer is only a month or so long and as someone who abhors heat, being that short is what I love about it.

My favourite thing about summer is being able to get away from university and catch up on both my old-school gaming and hang with friends.

Keep in mind, I live on the East Caost here - so I love that all of this comes w/ the territory of Summertime: wear less bulky stuff (no need for sweatshirts, jackets; etc); the warmer weather; & no shoveling snow.

Best thing about summer is that it doesn't rain so I don't get wet and I don't have to use umbrella (then again, even in rainy days I don't use umbrellas because "real men don't use umbrellas".

I live in a tropical region. The sun is always "above" us. We got only two seasons here, wet and dry seasons. When it's summer in other places, usually it's holiday break time for school. There's more people at tourism spots. What I really like actually is, we all know, summer sale! What else? :D

Best part about summer for me is you get to spend time outdoors where you can enjoy nature. For me, it's getting to go fishing (which is not nearly enough).

Worst part about summer are the mosquitoes and other bugs that just eat me up.

Because it's hot, and here where I lives on summer there is so much work to do, like taking firewood and so on.
