Hello friends of GOG.

When will you sell Dune 2000 and The Emperor of Dune?
It are older Westwood games.. and i hope you can sells these games to us gamers.

Please reply.

Greetings Wim
Highly unlikely to happen. The Herbert Estate has gotten really silly about the rights to the Dune property, and while that's the case, it wouldn't be worth EA and GOG agreeing the rights to the games.

In fact, I don't believe EA even owns the rights to the first one. I think that's owned by Microids, which I believe in turn owns DotEmu.
Sounds like Abandonware.

Speaking of which, Dune Legacy is awesome at playing Dune II on a modern PC.
Dune 2000 is on abandonia. My source of games no publisher gives a damn.
Dune 2000 is not on abomnia..
Dune 2 is on there..

But there is no change that dune 2000 and emperor of Dune will come on GOG?

One of my reviews!

I think there's a copy in the iso cellar which has the videos too. Although they can all be watched on youtube.
Sorry you where right.
But does it work on vista?
Haven't tried it on other systems than XP, sorry.

That is too bad. I'd love to see these games here at GOG.

I'm pretty sure I played it on Vista.
Both Dune 2000 and Emperor work for Windows 7.

I'd love to see them here thought.

No one can be 100% sure, but I'd say it's sadly unlikely.

This is going to sound like an odd question, but does downloading abandonware count as "pirating" or "illegal downloading"?

Just wondering how legal systems within the US look at abandonware.
