No. I heard Dune related stuff is almost impossible to sell because his family doesn't allow it.

Sacrifice is not Dune. :P
Dune 2000 and Battle for Dune I think it is called would be awesome additions to GoG. I just hope those games will be available on GoG during this year or during next year. :D

It's actually called Emperor: Battle for Dune

Right, forgot the name. Been years since I played it. Was allowed to borrow that game from a friend, and I loved it. Never bought the game my self though. Back then I didn't have a gaming pc, only PS2. I remember being stunned by the graphics. I didn't know much of pc-games except Command & Conquer series back then. I wonder where that time has gone. Seems to have gone a little bit too fast. :/

Anyway, thats the game I was thinking about. Emperor: Battle for Dune. :) (I love the movie as well)

No Dune game matters besides the first one. For the Amiga, for an arbitrary reason.
It's interesting how often threads about Dune pop out lately.

And as usual, I have to write the same thing: Dune games on GOG are highly unlikely. They are based and licensed on a book, and that license already expired. Probability of renewing such license is very low.

Consider these games abandonware.
I love the music in the first Dune game (though the full version is even better one of the best pieces of electro classic in my opinion)

I recently tried to finish the first one again recently had to make an iso of my original disc as my laptop doesn't have a optical drive. But saying that it does work natively in dosbox

But yea I don't see dune games appearing for a bit....

From what I've read, it is still licensed. I've read that from a post on another forum (dune2k). Dated from earlier this year, late in 2011. I dunno. But.. While we're at it: Abandoneware, it is in a grey zone, right? Just want to clarify that. Oh wait. Amazon might have both games. Need to check that out first. :>

Maybe an ethical greyzone but not a legal one.
It's funny, I just thought I'd log in to GOG and do a post about how the Dune games needed to be on GOG right now, and someone beat me to it. Dune 2, Dune 2000, and Emperor: Battle For Dune all NEED to be here.

I still have the disks for Dune 2000, and Emperor, but Emperor always involved disk juggling, since there was a different disk for each faction. A GOG release would fix that annoyance.

Ouch, I'll stay away then. Amazon had both games, non could be delivered to Norway. Sad.

Dude, just get it from an abandonware site . Nobody will care :P
