There's more than just buying games incredibly cheap to our DRM-Free Time Machine Sale! We're ready to pass its steering wheel (or rather the control console) to YOU. Each game in the sale is offered for a limited time only, and how long we stay in its year is up to you! Each time you see a new game on sale you can vote to either add or subtract 1 second from the timer. Each time you buy a game, you add 3 seconds to the time of it being on sale. We begin with 1983's Zork, bundled with the rest of the Zork Anthology of 6 games in total, for only $1.79. How long will it last on the front page? You'll be the judge. What comes next, as the game of 1984? Let's find out!

Let's take a trip in GOG.com's DRM-Free Time Machine Sale! 30 great games from 1983-2013 will be available up to 90% off, and you get to decide how long each game is on sale. Ready? The technomagical gateway to 1983 opens NOW!

* "Again?", you might ask, "when did they ever do the time warp?". Well, once you embark on a journey through time, all becomes relevant and there's absolutely no guarantee that what you are doing, you are doing for the first time. In fact, that's highly improbable. After all, time isn't linear. It's more like a giant wobbly-bobbly goggy-boggy ball of gaming awesome!

How predictable.
I feel bad for extracting this second from the witcher, but we all already own it, right..?
So 2008 is Witcher and 2012 ~ 2013 Witcher 2?
The Witcher, eh? Good choice, but definitely one for the newcomers, since anyone who has been here a while got it for free. Heck, I still have one free key left from that promotion myself.
Is there anyone without The Witcher yet?

ReynardFox: Really? The Witcher 1 again? It was on sale during the insomnia sale, it was offered up free with any purchase before that.
Yeah.At least this one should drop fast.
cmon everyone must have this allready let it die fast .. must be some gog stuff clicking + sec on this one :D

Risingson: Is there anyone without The Witcher yet?
Apparently quite a few, it seems to be selling well.
I've been really underwhelmed with the sale choices :\ But it's clear that some games were hot sellers, so this sale is not a total dud.

Seems so. I still have a gift key from last year... :D

If you don't have The Witcher by now...(remembers Deus Ex being on sale for 6+ hours) nevermind.

kimkyeounghwan: So 2008 is Witcher and 2012 ~ 2013 Witcher 2?
This.
At least I'll have some time to sleep.

Zoidberg: It doesn't qualify: it'll be out in 2014, right? And the sale is 1983-2013...
avatar
zepolleon: One could hope for a great surprise!
Yes but the Time Machine is only designed to travel back and forth between 1983 and 2013, all the while keaning a little longer in certain years compared to others. :P

Risingson: Is there anyone without The Witcher yet?
Considering how many people apparently still needed to buy Deus Ex, I'm no longer surprised. 2008 will likely last a good long while...

Same thing people said about Deus Ex. 6 hours later...
