I hate to have my computer infected. I hate to be pushed around, forced to go on-line, forced to have an account, ripped of LAN feature.
So I boycotted Steam and games like Starcraft 2, Assassins Creed 2 and other Ubisoft titles.
I bought Spore and it become my most awful purchase in years, disappointing game with stupid DRM.
I tolerated The sims 3 and it's expansions because retail DVD's don't have DRM and you also have access to the game in digital distribution with DRM via EADM.
Starcraft 2 lack of LAN and forced login makes it worth it less than 10$ for me, so I'll buy it for no more than that.
I bought NWN2 since I came know that DRM was removed from it. Same with the Witcher. I bought prince of persia 2008 because it was released with no DRM.
In short, I despise DRM practices and feel that they are restricting us as customers so I avoid games with DRM.
I find myself playing more console games because they are less annoying to deal with.
