It's pretty funny, especially if the characters are naked and covered in blood.

tacitus59: I downloaded it from steam. Despite the fact I am grousing about having to sign-up with yet another site; it appears to be going smoothly. But I am more than a bit annoyed with the reviews I have read which conveniently ignore (or more likely were too lazy to investigate) this necessity. Steam also needs to start mentioning things like this or GFWL requirements on their store page. Impulse gets points because they at least mentioned connection with EA servers. Alas according to the ars technica article the people who seem to being having the most problems bought from impulse.
yes, the dlc patcher wasn't built into the impulse version, I guess they wanted to use impulse for the dlc.. sadly it did not come to that.

Mine is being delivered to my door at which point I will pay for it. That's one thing I enjoy about being Japan at least, COD.
Mine was shipped today but I likely won't have it for a week yet since it's coming from england (and still $40 cheaper than buying here)
Mine is apparently an Asia release copy with a version of box art I've never seen before. It's basically the CE sword cover but on a wooden texture back ground and not the blue/gray battlefield of the US release.
Be nice to see that box image.
I do not know of this "boxed copy" you speak of.
I just bought my copy of Dragon Age Origins (normal version).
Gonna be one hell of a weekend with this.
Sigh for us in the uk it is tommorow thought i might have been able to play before friday by ordering the download version from ea its pre loaded now but says released in 11 hours.
Oh well thats my weekend planned then .
Yay. Just got an email from Amazon (people I preordered from) giving me the Memory Band and Lion's Claw pre-order DLC.

Take a look. The back is the same so I'm wondering if it actually *is* a box. That'd be cool in it's own little way. Still, comes with the cloth map apparently and was packaged in Singapore.

My metal box has a plastic cover around it, so the box slides out (up or down), and the sword's blade is transparent to display part of the red dragon on the metal-grey box. I assume that plastic thingie is cheap enough to create regional versions of.
