I see two DLCs available on 360, how have the DLCs been doing with sales and has anyone heard if the DLC quality was as poor as most DLC for DA:O?

Black Emporium is free and it's just a glorified shop. Allows you to respec your character and gives you a Mabari hound. Yeah, can live without it.

Exiled prince gives you a new character and some quests. If you remember Shale from DA:O then it's pretty much the same deal.

The DLC so far shows they are copying the DLC format used in Origins which was rather poor over all. So much for their claims that the DLC would be Mass Effect 2 quality. I'm expecting the first proper DLC to be Qunari Chronicles.

It almost seems like that team doesn't give a crap anymore. Wonder what killed their spirit, Laidlaw, or is he just a symptom?

The Black Emporium is free ? It's listed as 800 BW points.

Sebastian is a joke when compared to Shale, the overall format is the same but the quality of the delivery and the content definitely isn't.

Seems a lot of the team either left or was moved to The Old Republic. From what I can tell there isn't much of the original Dragon Age team left working on it. I don't understand why Bioware decided to gut the team like that. I know The Old Republic is a big project for them but they have basically thrown away about 3 million sales plus all the connected DLC add-on's by gutting the Dragon Age team and pushing out an underfunded and underdeveloped sequel.

Free with any new copy of the game. All PC gamers should have it free, the only people who will have to pay for it is those buying second hand on the consoles.

With a new copy, Black Emporium is free. I believe that is what he meant.

Ah, that's it then, thanks ;)

Still on Shale, let's not forget that Shale was the only DAO DLC that actually added a new area to the game world, in fact it added two new areas to the game world, where every other piece of DAO DLC used refurbished locations.

Edit: Actually Sodier's Peak also added a new location, obviously, my bad.

There is no question Shale was the better DLC. Not only was it a unique addition to the game but the character herself was awesome. I was simply using it as an example of what to expect from Exiled Prince.

Of course if you are expecting an interesting quest with new interesting locations then you are in for disappointment :)

But....but...Exiled Prince added the "felicitate me" -scene in the game, that alone is worth the money :D

I never really liked Shale, don't know why...

While that did make me laugh out loud it quickly became a meme so you don't have to buy Exiled Prince to enjoy it. Take Fenris along, his face is priceless.

That's probably the only worthwhile moment in the whole DLC ;)

Definitely an awesome character, ornithophobia and all ;)

But she's fantasy HK-47!

Are you a pigeon lover by any chance?

KneeTheCap: Good points, Namur & Delixe :)

Derailing this a bit, but do you think we'll ever be able to play as the warden again, or is Hawke the new poster boy of the franchise?

And does anyone have an idea what the *insert random curse word* happened to Alistair's face? I know that it's been few years since Origins, but still...I can understand Zevran, since they "updated" the elves altogether, but Alistair (and Teagan) baffles me..
I really doubt the warden will come back. Seems Bioware wants all player characters voice acted these days, so your warden would have to return with a new voice and its accompanying personality. Awkward! Also, your customized warden wouldn't carry over unless they used the same base models. I suspect Alistair looks like crap in DA2 because it's a new model (perhaps not even a unique one) with a poor likeness of the original.

Hmmm... I suppose they could get around that by bringing back the Warden as a golem, abomination, or darth vader like character. I think I'd prefer that he/ she just disappear.

I have nothing against pidgeons :)

And I'm ashamed to say this, but I had to google that "HK-47" since I had no idea who/what that was...

*shames*

If you're speaking about this, why the hell would a normal person know that?

http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/HK-47

It's not like it was in any of the movies. I know most Star Wars fans know who each of the anonymous bounty hunters who stand in front of Jabba along with Bobba are, but come on, that's a little bit much for anyone but the most devoted fan.
