Dr.M. has stolen our marketing plans, taken our game masters, absconded with our video trailers, and pilfered our contracts! Coala suggests that we should track down the evil Dr., but how in the world can we do that? We know that he has our "Get HUGE" formula, and we suspect that Dr. M. is going to the headquarters of our next publisher--and we know it's one of the five we've already mentioned in our CDP Days Conference this Spring. One of our clever developer guys pointed out that the only way that Dr. M. could have found GOG's secret headquarters (as opposed to our regular, non-secret one) would be to have put a tracking device somewhere. We've tracked Dr. M's tracker (ha! Take that, evil!) and we're plotting his location on a world map with each of our possible upcoming publishers' locations in them. Keep tuned for more updates as we triangulate on the signal and try to track down...the DASTARDLY DR. M.!

the mysterious Dr. M. made his appearance was way back in September, when we re-launched and moved the service out from the beta. Now, with the big announcement quickly approaching, it seems that Dr. M. has come out of the shadow once again. What's he up to this time? Find out more in the tale of great horror, entitled "Dr. M. & The Dastardly Doom". What horrors await? What grim future is coming to GOG.com?

We'll be posting the next pages of the comic in the next days so stay tuned to this news post as the story will reveal more info on Dr. M. and the secret briefcase!

One of those publishers would be great already but LA and EA together would raise GOG's power level to OVER 9000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*thud* I can't believe I didn't check the dates. I'm to tired to think of what else EEE might stand for right now.

I didn't mean to say the E3 always equals LA, but in this year's case it does. While I'm understanding that you want to seperate the event from the location, I have problems with this since it is at it's concept an excuse to gather a bunch of people in the same field at a single location and flaunt their stuff to the media. A counter argument might point out that this year Konami has a pre E3 event located in multiple cities (according to wikipedia). Coincidently one of these locations is LA and it is set to take place 6/2, but they are a developer and are neither LucasArts or EA so we don't care.

Yeah, don't sweat it too much. I get what you're saying: multiple E3s don't spring up all over the place in the span of a week; thus, adding a location to the event is redundant. And while LucasArts would be a stellar addition, I'm just hoping beyond hope that it's going to be EA for three reasons:

1) Origin
2) Bullfrog
3) Jane's

(Side note: the link was going to a screen cap that I took from MLP...I've removed the URL seeing as how my GoG forum link-fu is weak)
I hope that is's EA. There are so many games from my youth that I'd like to own: Dungeon Keeper series, Syndicate series, Theme Hospital, Dune series, C&C series etc.
The question: Is The Sims Complete coming to gog?!
If it turns out to be EA I'd love to get my hands on Bioforge.

[Then again I'd probably end up buying most of the old classic games from EA, Bullfrog, etc.]

Good question .
I think that "the biggest announcement ever" means that on GOG.com will be introduced games from all of these developers - 2K, Lucasarts, Microsoft, Square Enix and EA.

Am I right? :-)
Heres to hopeing we get loads from Lucast Arts, like DOTT, and other great adventure games, also the old X-Wing series, including TIE figther, oh just typeing makes my head swirl with the good old time I had with them.

Also hopeing from a few good oldies for EA, the Wing Commander Series.

*sigh* Me is very anxious what it will be, those two companies proberly have sucked my wallets dry a few times and are about to do it again. :D

You've got a deal ;)
GoG's making an offshoot digital distribution site like steam/gamersgate/etc. ?
At this point I don't really care because either of them is going to be a blast. I could even click the "pre-buy now whatever is going to be released today" button.

If such a button existed, which it should.
I'm hoping for Lucas Arts, I need my star wars fix!
Is this article hinting something????

Not really he's just making a statement considering the delicate position in which SWTOR is right now.
