May be, if you stopped challenging people by asking them if they can drop it, they would, ya know, DROP IT.

This community really has become piss poor since all this. I shoulda known better than to even waste my time posting here. Nothing but whining attention seeking trolls and no one to fucking put a damn gag on 'em.

Worse are the people low rating those who hated the stunt and up rating those who loved it. It's just sad. Let it fucking go already.

I am one of the people who didn't like the stunt. The choice therefore was to voice my complaint and decide whether I didn't like it enough to stop being a customer.

People are still going at it. I'm glad they're mostly confined to the one stickied thread, because otherwise it turns into a number of these kinds of threads a day.

Oh ok. I had misunderstood . I had also read your second post and your viewpoint seemed skewed towards favoring the "non offended" but I guess after re-reading both posts your explanation makes sense.

And the only one who actually wins in this thread are not the people who say " you guys need to shut up" but the person who came in here wanting to read an argument. Guess who that person is? That's right, it's me. I AM THE REAL WINNER WHOOOOOOOOOO

Funny. :) And depressingly true in this case...

As for up rating and down rating and all that, I'm an equal opportunity down voter of anyone from either side who's acting belligerent and insulting. Most people can state their feelings without being over the top. Those who can't, and just start slinging insults 'Cause I HAD to, cause that other guy did...and I want him to stop, so I figured the best way to get him to was to do the SAME'...I down vote.

Agreed. And once this "I hate you for the PR stunt" thing settles down (no offense meant) it will be great again. I lurked for two years here on GOG and it really is a classy community when not at war.

Also locking this thread would probably help a lot, but it would probably seem like "forcing the upset to be silent". What wouldn't be true because there are tons of topics about this already. Anyway, I'm for locking this, if that's possible.
