Like I said said.. does it work?
Never had an issue with mine, just make sure you meet the requirements and have all of your drivers and os updates to date
It worked for me at least. I have an ATI HD Radeon 5770 on Windows XP.
They released a hotfix for the ATI problems, if I recall correctly. Though I am sure some people still had problems, as this is PC gaming we're talking about here.

It was a beta patch that never graduated because Pandemic closed before they could finalize it. It received mix results; some people had all problems fixed, others had no change.

I had a 5870 at the time I was trying to play the game, and actually had more problems with my quad-core CPU than the Radeon card. The game only supports dual core CPUs, so if I didn't disable two of my cores then the game would show vicious pop-in (entire streets would disappear and not draw until I was already driving on them for several seconds). I also had some red artifacts that never really went away. And that beta patch never helped me out.
I have a quad-core and never had that problem.

I have an i7 quad core and, like SV, I also never had that issue.

Oh.. then.. I won't buy it. Sucks.

Edit: good thing I read those posts too.. well good. Still sucks.

I would like to point out that the game ran well enough once I had disabled my cores, and the artifacting did not destroy the experience. The game is a rather fun destruct-a-thon and I would recommend it to fans of open would games. I would say, however, that you would be better off springing for a console version if you have the means to do that.

I don't have consoles.. well ps2 but that's why I asked.. I would have liked to play that but.. whatever.
Have you installed the path?

The Saboteur(tm)
Version 1.03 BETA Patch Notes - December 18, 2009
==================================================================

Game no longer freezes during play on the following hardware
combination:
* ATI video card from the 3K, 4K, and 5K series
* Windows Vista/7 both 32 bit and 64 bit

Known Issues & Current Workaround:

Users with Quad core CPU's will possibly have significant streaming issues without the following work around. The team is aware of this issue and is working on a fix for it in the next patch update. If you are running a Quad Core CPU please follow the steps below to set Game Only affinity on your CPU. While this will decrease the amount of streaming glitches, it is not a full proof fix.

Recommended Game-only steps for Quad core users only:

Windows 7 and Vista

1.) Boot the game.
2.) Wait for the main menu to load, then press Ctrl-Alt-Delete.
3.) Select Start Task Manager.
4.) If the game is visible, press Alt-Tab, otherwise continue to the next step.
5.) Inside the Task Manager, go to the Processes tab.
6.) Find Saboteur.exe, right-click it, and select Set Affinity…
7.) De-select CPU 2 and CPU 3.
8.) Click OK.

For me the game was playable, but the map was completely messed up making it very hard to know where you were and where you could/should go. Even the beta patch didn't correct this issue, that's one of the main reason why I quit playing the game.
