I do no miss dial up, I only miss the sound for which reason I have a few WAV files with modem dial up sounds that I listen to every now and then...

I really do! :)

As for old computers, I don't miss them at all because I still run "old" computers. Atari XL/XE and Amiga, all of which I have modified over the years.

Possibly, I always associate that sound, with wait...and waiting and....waiting
No. Enulation and Virtual machines are great, I have no need to run actual old hardware when new hardware does the same thing better.
I remember I used to have to give my old computer a good solid kick in the side if it locked up.

I kind of miss old computers for the nostalgia factor. I am old enough to remember installing games with diskettes, and typing commands in MS-DOS. I definitely don't miss dial-up or CRT monitors though.
Those couple of tones are forever etched in my brain.
and I remember lose many dial up modems in electrical storms. That was sadly... welcome back to 127.0.0.1

I yearn for simpler times, when no one knew the President was crippled :3
I still have my old Compaq with MS-DOS and my mobile ringtone is the Windows 95 startup sound. So yes, I do miss old computers.

I don't miss dial up tough. Every time trying to make sure nobody would use the phone got tiresome...

Yep, modems and dentist drills.
I like 'em both about as much. ;)
I miss BBS's and freenets, but not the speed at which they ran. I do kind of miss my old 286 though, it died when I tried to install Win 95 on it.
Yeah, I miss being yelled at for tieing up the phone line waiting for a simple file to download, only for it to fail and I have to try again later on.

I guess some dial up providers still exist, but if for some reason I had to drop broadband, I think I would go without rather than mess with those headaches again.
