Here is the weird thing:

When I first downloaded it, it was working perfectly with no problems, but then a week later this happens one day I start up the game, but there was no sound and than later the game turned off and I get a "Windows is looking for a solution." window.

Mabye it was a little glitch that fixed itelf or something since I have not start the game again for 2 days now so did anyone here had a similar situation?

I really havent experienced much issues outside the game rearranging my damn icons, which drives me completely bat shit crazy.

I have had issues with 2142 in the past .... probably about time I checked back in to see if it works yet.

i dont think it is about ea. i think you should uninstall and download it again

Now I feel like an idiot saying this but I found out the problem:

Apperantly my brother muted it from the Windows volume controls and I did not notice.

So the game is alright, however that turning off on its own did happened, but not as often as I thought.
