They are all univerally horrible. The Doctor still hasn't had a good game.
Dalek Attack - Awful
Destiny of the Doctors - Awful (Although Ainley's last performance as The Master, watch it on YouTube)
Doctor Who: Top Trumps - As bad as you can imagine.
I'm still hoping the BBC will make Lego Doctor Who.

A 2LY bargepole still wouldn't be long enough to touch the old dr who games
Did they ever explain exactly what made the TARDIS explode, or who that voice was talking through the cracks? Are we going to have The Master coming back?

No, in Confidential Moffat says none of that was explained and will be a recurring theme in Series 6. Along with the truth behind River Song.

<nod> Just wanted to make sure I didn't miss something small yet important. Thanks.
Since no ones posted it yet.
The next season of Doctor Who is being split in 2 (as will apparently all future series) an easter run of 7 eps leading upto the summer holidays then a second run of 6 episodes in the autumn. Apparently theres a majorly game changing cliffhanger being thrown in for the season break.
The Moff says it's to lower the gap between series personally I think it's to spread the budget out so he can keep it at decent levels what with all the random cuts the beeb are doing lately.
US cable shows are doing that a lot and I think it makes sense... you get two hyped up premiers and finales and you get ad revenue from different seasons. Also you can try spicing up other shows with lead-ins and such.
As long as the BD releases are still around Christmas it works out well in my opinion.

So anyway.
Just saw the last episode of sixth season. I must say i was underwhelmed with this series. Weakest ep imo was the doctor's wife. It had so much potential, that line about dead time lords was great in trailer but in the show it didn't play out good. It wasn't a bad ep per say... just could be so much more. Should do it slower and split into two parts.
I was also underwhelmed by mid series finale. Felt... rushed. Those cool pirates appear from nowhere (yay) and then disappear from the episode without a word. seeing how much death there was I wonder whether they are still alive. The climax was weak, as well as the revelation that river is melody.

but second part of the series.
Started with hilarious Hitler in closet episode and ended so so brilliantly. Loved the world where time stands still. Flying balloon cars, pterodactyls as pests, London to Cairo steam train connection with military base inside a pyramid.
Really wish we saw more of that world.
The storytelling flowed flawlessly. Every scene was full of suspense, lots of comedy yet so much drama. One of the best Doctor Who episodes I had seen. Makes me also wonder how series seven will be different from previous six...

What's gog opinion on series six?

Let me tell answer that with simple answer : "I was on my way to this gay, gypsy, bar mitzvah for the disabled when I suddenly thought "Gosh, the Third Reich's a bit rubbish, I think I'll kill The Fuhrer."

I enjoyed it...I loved so far EVERY episode of Doctor Who :)

Dissapointed, I think Steven Moffat realized that to an extent and that's why he made the doctor go back to the shadows. There were no standout episodes. Season 3 had episodes like "Human Nature / The Family of Blood", Season 4 ended brilliantly. There's not one episode from that series that I'd actually say deserves repeating.

I think the trademark so far of the Moffat era has been the stories have been linked and consistantly good, average at worse. It's very easy to have standout episodes like Family of Blood and Blink when they are compared to absolute crap like Love and Monsters. Rusty's era had some wonderful highs but also some attrocious lows.

If you want to look at how Russel T constructed a complete train wreck then look no further than the three part ending to series 3.

Utopia - Wonderful one of his best episodes.
The Sound of Drums - Seriously underrated episode with some real drama and some nice lore on the Time Lords.
Last of the Time Lords - Rusty's biggest facepalm. Scissor Sisters, Gollum Doctor, Clap your hands for Jesus and a big reset button all in one horrible nonsensical package.

True, no episode embarrased itself like that, but I hope he'd deliver some of the highs, Silence in the Iibrary was great, and I was wanting more of that. I just don't know where he's going to get that momentum from.

EDIT: I quite liked the ending to season 3! So I guess we have different opinions.

My biggest issue with Season 6 was that, as soon as I saw "Let's Kill HItler", I knew how the season would end.

Yeah - it was a little obvious wasn't it?
