Elmodiddly: Exceptional efforts my arse. He scours the helppages as he has naff all to do, the moment someone posts a problem he's on google then posts and answer and "Poof" there's another +5 rep.
Stupid system.

Why is it stupid? Even if he's just roaming around the whole time to see if he can help people, as long as those people are helped that is a good thing.

exactly, and I don't actually scour the boards, there are a plentiful amount of threads that don't have my input on them, and many threads that do have my input but my answer was not selected as solution.
Also, I don't use google, I never thought to use it until now.
Thanks.
I think that the number of posts on GOGs' forum should be shown, not the rep count.

Why? The only thing post count tells you is how much the user spams the forums, but is otherwise useless and just encourages lame posts by people with delusions that it means something to have a high post count. As someone once said on a different forum: "Remember kids, the higher your post count, the bigger your penis!"
At least the rep is supposed to indicate something useful (i.e. how helpful a user is and how much of a positive contributor they are), even though it is currently quite flawed. If they got rid of the automatic doling out of rep points, it might be a bit better.
Sure. I can not say that the rep count is useless. I just don't care it thanks to GOG's great atmosphere.
We can hardly find someone with negative score count.

He probably stopped because of the lack of support during his Arx Fatalis 1.19 fiasco....

Last I saw, he was at about -12 rep, though that should only take about a week to eliminate, as long as he stays off the Arx Fatalis thing.
