I like this. Change wasn't as dramatic as I feared. I'd stil like to have slightly more sharper text thought. Having light grey and dark grey mix up isn't the best possible use of colours. Also some smaller text are hard to read because of the choise of font and that said colour problem. They make the text almost invisible to the eyes.
Well, I have to say that the "new" gog is not fully new in my opinion.
I do like some of the new features which are currently still in beta stage.
In term of appearance, I would say that the new gog seems better. It is more minimalist. But I don't like the new header or the tabs on the top. I hate that white transparent colour. I prefer the old one.
ill get back to you once ive used it a while, I hate change so at the moment I want the old one back
No, but I didn't like the old one either.

If asked, I'd get rid of the grey color, rounded corners, and most images.

Prefer a simple, JavaScript-nearly-free and CSS-light website.

i love it so far.

But I don't like the new Game Bookshelf thing. I used to have a nice empty shelf separating my free games from my purchased games. And now I can't. And I had to re-organize my games again. This minor design choice wasn't a good one in my opinion and I would like the old bookshelf back.

Everything else is awesome though!
I love it. Just as functional as it ever was, at least as far as I'm concerned. So yeah, not many big and constructive complaints from my end. Sorry. :-P
The navigation bar at the top needs to go, seriously. I mean, just leave it at the top of the page. Don't make it follow me when I scroll down, it's just a waste of space.

imho I like it following me.

A compromise should always be thought of though, such as a check box on the left of the bar or an option in the user settings allowing users to stop it from following them.
It's hard to cater to so many preferences. I like it (for the most part), and I see it as a work in progress, with firm steps in the right direction.

That said, I can get used to most anything, so my opinion here isn't the best critique.

When I was first looking at the site this morning it was with my tablet, and an ever present bar at the top can be good in that circumstance since flicking your finger up and up and up is more annoying then hitting the home key.

An option might be the best for that.
Considering it was being bummed up as 'all new' I don't see much of an actual difference... but the changes I do see, I see as being entirely unnecessary and unduely cumbersome, the drop down menus at the top of the page are just pointless... but I'll put up with all of that, it's the new pricing, being all over the place, that I don't like.

$14.99 for an indie? really? nah.. not worth it, it only reason prices are so high for AAA is because of the millions spent on developing them.. the budget for an indie is NOWEHER near AAA budget, but they're going to costs half the retail price of a AAA? That's just a bad joke.

I think gog are turning into something that I have no desire to be a part of.

EDIT.. The new shelf sucks. Why the hell does change usually mean REMOVING accessability and convenience... I thought we were 'getting' stuff with this change.

Also if you are using PageUp/Down instead of scroll you can't see all posts right.

kodeen: An option might be the best for that.
1. Always on
2. Always off
3. Transparent / can hide

These three options and I'm sold.
It'll take some getting used to, but I think some of the changes were nice. I'm not a fan of the bar following me either. It takes up space when I'm reading the forums, but I like it when I'm browsing the games. I would like an option to glue it to the top when I don't want it following.
To be strictly honest some of these posts I'm reading look like people are complaining just to complain.
