I have (EDIT: had) a spare Steam alpha/beta key from the Kickstarter, which will be valid until the game is released. Anyone interested in trying the beta? (EDIT: the giveaway is over)

Larian had a Twitch.tv beta preview and Q&A earlier today (Stabbey's summary). The release is expected Wednesday or Thursday. (EDIT: was released Wednesday)

The beta will contain about the first 20-25 hours of the game. Updates will likely not maintain saved game compatibility, but if you want to try out different builds anyway, or make different quest/conversation choices, etc, that isn't really a problem. If you want to avoid spoilers or don't have much tolerance for replaying games, it would be best to wait for the full release.

I'll do a random draw of everyone who replies that they are interested in trying the beta in about 60 hours, or so (the evening of the 2nd in North America), or when the beta is released, whichever comes first.
EDIT: the beta has been released, so I will be doing the draw in an hour...

and since im not really scheduled on many other betas i would even have time to test it extensively :D

Sure, I'd be interested.

Got pretty much all past Larian games (starting with Divinity II, but got the older ones here on GOG), but was too late for the KS (not to mention the co-op scared me off a bit since pure single-player).
This will be a good opportunity then to see how that is, and maybe help prevent some bugs in retail, or giving some feedback like with Dragon Commander (fun game, bad RTS).

I would like the chance to get a key for it.
