Shortly before the release of Divinity II: Ego Draconis, the first two entries in the acclaimed RPG series are revived at GOG.com
We're proud to announce that we've signed an agreement with Belgian independent game developer, Larian Studios. Thanks to the agreement, fans of role-playing games are getting the opportunity to play Larian’s acclaimed [url=http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/divine_divinity]Divine Divinity and Beyond Divinity. "Back in 2002, we had no clue how people would react to the game and weren’t sure that our RPG mix was going to appeal. Then, suddenly we got bombarded with emails and forum reactions from people enjoying the game, and received award after award from the specialized press. It was a very rewarding time, and I look forward to see the reactions from the GOG.com audience.” said Swen Vincke, CEO at Larian Studios. Divine Divinity is now available for only $5.99!
Trivia:
The Beyond Divinity novella is written by Rhianna Pratchett, and I proofread it :).
Hey Beyond Divinity! Never could find a copy of this in stock (at least cheaply).
I know reviews were more mixed on it, but I'll be interested in grabbing it nonetheless.
Awesome! Thank you Larian Studios & GOG team!
Welcome Larian
Thanks GOG

they had an interview with them on a podcast, and totally convinced Swen to do it.
cool. Amazing games to be honest. And as a Belgian (living in the netherlands), i am proud to see the games on an amazing site like this one!! They should feel right at home here.

My dilemma is: do I replay Divine Divinity first? or do I play Divinity 2 Ego Draconis first? mmmm

Try tDivine divinity first has a lot of backstory to the world. The 1st one is a great rpg that will give you a lot of gaming hours. Cant comment on Divinity 2 yet as not released here but will certainly be playing it after its released here and after i have played Divine for a while.
The releases of these games are gathering some attention. Among the first to notice and write about it is the Norwegian site gamer.no:
