I've had my eye on Inquisitor. I have Divine Divinity in my library. And I have a few dollars of b-day money left.

What I don't have is crazy amounts of time to play both right now. I'll likely only get to one of them in the next few years.

Which should I play?

Thanks!
Both deserve your time. Since you already own DD, I recommend picking up Inquisitor while it's on gem sale. It's unique in a few ways that I can't really explain, but it is like D2 meets Kult: Heretic Kingdoms, I think that's the best way I could sum it up.
Additional Info: I haven't played a game like them before. I've played Diablos and Baldur's Gate, but never a big open-world isometric RPG.

For me, story and gameplay are very important. NPC-interaction is good, I tend to like low-magic worlds where when you find magical items, it's quite spectacular. If you have any ?'s about my tastes, let me know.

Thanks again!
DD
Can't go wrong with Divine Divinity. Seeing as you already have it you may as well play that one.

Inquisitor isn't that big, and it has many gameplay elements in common with BG .
Div Div, I hated Inquisitor personally. Great story, shite gameplay mechanics.
I like both games, but i tend to DD (maybe thats because i've played it 3 times)
DD is a really huge game.

The beginning/end game suck though because they drag on too long. Wandering around in the middle parts of the game is fun though.
Divine Divinity is the better game in nearly all aspects. Inquisitor if you like torturing people and then burning people alive on stakes.

Inquisitor's combat and gameplay elements are crap compared to BG. Not to mention Inquisitor has you controlling one character not a whole party. So it's probably closer to a story driven single character ARPG with crappy combat than anything else.

Still more similar to BG than to DD ...
Inquisitors combat is dreadfully boring and repetitive, among other flaws I could go on about at length. I would avoid it unless you are the hardest of the hardcore fan of this type of game. Go with DD, it is far more accessible and enjoyable.

If you asked me, it's probably closer to DD than BG. All 3 games are story driven. You can loot generate in DD by save scumming and getting different stats for it, you can also save scum in Inquisitor to get items with different stats, BG your loot is fixed. Both DD and Inq are single character, BG of course is party. All 3 games have different leveling mechanics though.
