He advocates long-term copyright extensions and happily insults anyone who disagrees with him by comparing them to Idi Amin and Adolf Eichmann.

That sounds to me as a reason not to read it.
If that's the way you have to defend your statements and arguments, it's probably far from a good book.

I think he meant the article, not the book.

Wishbone: I think he meant the article, not the book.

Yep. i meant the article!
The article is okay, although a bit predictable which you can expect with such a book.

Well I think we've just found jack thompson's new penpal.
What a total unashamed cunt. Someone should send him a link to kotaku and let him join those he's clearly more suited to communicating with.
Eh, some nobody who does a poor job articulating the copyright maximalist position. Don't encourage him by giving him any more attention that he's due (which is to say, very little).

Yeah this one at least is doing a good job of alienating himself, the jack thompson problem was that he could be persuasive and sincere sounding when he was on TV and that created a danger of him being taken seriously but I think this author has little chance of that
I'm sure he'll be Howard "Hollywood" Berman's bed buddy soon.
[Note to mods: this is because I am referring to Howard's being in bed with the "big content" industry. I am not disparaging anyone's preferences]
