Do bosses health reset if you exit their instance and come back? Say you're losing and out of potions and you use a town portal scroll to resupply and then come back, or just exit the dungeon and come back another time -- will their health then reset back to 100%?

nope they dont i remember the butcher not regenerating his health even after coming back to slay him after 30mins but dont remember what happens if you save and quit the game

The game should reset everything only when you exit&save....

- Everything is reset if you exit and save. Including full monster respawns.

- Bosses or monsters do not regenerate health as long as you stay in the game. This is how I killed The Butcher first time. Kite him around a bit while hacking away, running out of pots, going back to town to get more, returning to continue nibbling away his health ...

Heck, that's how I killed any boss in Diablo.

I dont remember monsters being reset but its been ages since ive played it, ive had 4 copies and my brother has stolen every 1

ya hey the monsters once killed in diablo 1 are dead forever , remember you have the instant save system here in diablo 1, so when you die its game over however if you load up your game and go back to the lower levels the monsters remain dead however on the battle net everything is reset each time you play the game
